Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP’s) are healthcare professionals educated to Master’s level who can mange a wide variety of medical conditions. They can perform clinical examination, order investigations and give you a prescription and arrange onward referral to hospital or other specialists. Sister Lay works between both practice sites.
Within the practice we have two part time practice nurses, Sister Smith who is based in Houston & Sister Jesmont and who work between both sites.
The practice sisters perform many tasks in association with the doctors, such as family planning work & smears as well as asthma and diabetes reviews.
